So…we noticed not many people talk about how men should be investing in quality undergarments and I am not too sure why.
The definition: eth·i·cal /ˈeTHək(ə)l/ – It covers a range of issues such as working conditions, exploitation, fair trade, sustainable production, the environment, and animal welfare.
I mean underwear is doing a pretty important job if you ask me…
Amidst our list, we found a brand that produces hemp fabric boxers. Which if you didn’t know is one of the strongest textiles out there. Hemp also has the most anti-bacterial properties, reported by BCLiving. Though most vegetable fibers do carry a similar system. If you put two and two together, having your body so tightly close to your (let’s just say) reproductive organs, you want to make sure it keeps any moisture away, especially when you are working out. Since hemp requires one to not use high heat and dries extremely quickly, you don’t have to worry about friction which can cause chafing as an athlete. A dryer turned all the way up and a morning run right after doesn’t sound too pretty.
Hemp also is hypoallergenic. I am not here to discuss one’s downstairs business but if you are using a razor, fabrics can contribute to irritation after. We are still dealing with open pores and of course a sensitive area. Which is probably one of the most googled things out there.
It doesn’t just end there though. There are so many ethical brands that produce great garments that are affordable and make you feel super confident. This shouldn’t be an uncomfortable thing to talk about. Taking good care of yourself is always a number one priority and learning to add extensive research into your routine isn’t a bad thing. Yeah, you may have a few laughs about those that use only ethical products or use nature as a form of uplifting your health but it offers so many benefits to both inside and out.
