START-UP FASHION WEEK – TORONTO 17′
Fashion? Technology? And…business? All under one roof? How can this be? Immediately greeted by some * very * important people on horses at the entrance, you could say it was defiantly the beginning of a night to remember.
Daniels Spectrum was wickedly lit, with positive faces waiting to check you in. I must say, the drink selection was one that didn’t go unnoticed. From the adult refreshments to naturally tasting Pure Leaf tea. There was something for everyone. Detailing is something I appreciated and most I would assume could agree.
Start-Up Fashion Week ‘artisans’ were very quick and on time to get those to their seats, especially making sure you find it without any hassle or irritation. The ‘take home bags’ were an extra bonus that I found tasteful. An event that is well executed from the moment you step in, deserves more than just attention, which is the reason why I wasn’t too surprised what trailed down the runway.
Though we are dedicated to the rad gentlemen and most of the night was catered to women’s threads, I still give major accolades to any designer for their persistence and hard work to their craft. We did, however, cover 2 of the showcases at SFW – Tap2Tag and Inlighten Co which you can view by clicking HERE and HERE. Much applause for Jodi, Executive Producer Start-Up Fashion Week for putting on an event that is humanized but also one where everyone can feel fashionably taken care of.
